We formed "Kafa Pilot" in the late summer months of 2016.
We used to go by the name of Cekin before; however, after we decided to publish our own compositions, we decided to continue with a new name. During this period, there was some change in the staff. We released the first Single “Tamam Tamam” in January 2017. The next year, on May 11, 2018, we released our first album named “Dur Bakalım” with the label of Arpej Production. In March 2020, the next single “Fırtına” was released again under the label of Arpej Yapım.

2009-2013
While I was just learning recording technologies during my university years, I started to take my own demo recordings. I thought I’d add a few records from that period here.
In the summer of 1998, while I was secretly trying to play my brother's guitar, I was introduced to music.
After my brother realized the situation, he started to show me what he knew. I made my debut in December 2000 and then the story started to develop. I bought my first electric guitar in 2002 and after that, music turned into a great passion for me. I formed my first band in high school and in that process, I started to take the stage in Tekirdağ both at school events and in the organizations we organized.
Although I started playing the guitar, I switched to bass guitar in 2012. I continue to play both instruments now. In addition to playing instruments, I became interested in sound recording technologies and I also take album recordings of my band. Even though we were actively performing in Istanbul and compiling our own compositions until before Covid-19, unfortunately we took a break from the stage these days. I hope we’ll be back on stage soon…
During my university years, I gave much more importance to music and it was the period when I spent most active time in music.
Since the first year of school (2005), I had the opportunity to work with many different bands and to take the stage. Apart from school spring festivals and other activities, I had the opportunity to take the stage in many different concerts and events in Kyrenia, Nicosia and Gazi Magusa during the 5 years I stayed in Cyprus.
In the summer of 2008, I went to Toronto / Canada for language school for 2 months.
Since I was very interested in music during these periods and the idea of performing in a different country excited me, I had the opportunity to take the stage with different musicians in Toronto for 1.5 months.
I moved to Istanbul in 2011. Then, in 2012, I joined the band Cekin as a bass guitarist.
Since 2012, I have had the opportunity to take the stage many times in many parts of Istanbul. In this process, I gave concerts in different places such as university festivals, TV shows and bar stages. At the moment, I still continue my music studies with Kafa Pilot, which I mentioned above.
I have performed in many different cities in three different countries (Turkey, Cyprus, Canada) so far. I have made music in many different genres such as Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Progressive Metal, Rock, Funk, Pop and Blues and I still enjoy making music.
